My entire life, I hated, HATED, writing book reports. From grade school all the way through university. Yet here I am, prattling on about books. In my spare time. For fun. Go figure.

Note: I am not an expert on books or literature! A buff, sure. A fanatic, no doubt. But an authority, definitely not. I’m not a writer, editor, teacher, librarian, publishing industry insider, journalist, reviewer, professor or even much of a scholar. I’m just someone with her nose in a book pretty much every spare moment. My friends and family know that, and often ask, “What are you reading these days?” This blog is that conversation, in cyberspace.
